On a hill, inside a pine forest that overlooks the sea, Acqua di Friso is the ideal place for tourists in search of a relaxing holiday in harmony with the territory. The agro-camping organizes tours and excursions and it has a good convention with a nearby swimming pool. There is also an area where the tourist can taste or buy the typical farm products (Area of Sun) and a suggestive place for shows, concerts, exhibits, yoga and stone-therapy training, gyrokinesis® training (the shelter of the Naiads).

Here it is possible to buy typical farm products such as olive oil, vegetables, preserved food and citrus fruits (in winter season)as well as meet people or taste and enjoy a typical local event: the preparation by the shepherd themselves of the “mpanata”, ricotta cheese mixed with wheat bread

The shelter of the Naiads
A suggestive place lit up by oil lamps and candles where to enjoy an authentic kaleidoscope of events, shows, concerts, book presentations and exhibits where the tourists can show their most suggestive pictures. Tours and excursions
We organize sea excursions to admire from the glass bottom boats the fantastic submarine scenery of our sea-reserve with its wrecked ships and a flora and a fauna that are unique for underwater swimmers. Isolated beaches where you can admire the rare sea-lilies reachable only by boat but it is necessary to book in advance or if you prefer you can rent a motor boat for private tours.

Archaeology and history of Calabria
The Archaeological Superintendence organizes here summer field research where it is possible to personally follow the excavations and the restoration of the finds. The visits to the excavations will let you discover the historical and cultural background of Calabria.
The agro-camping organizes excursions to the nearby excavations fields where, among the others, were found the remains of a necropolis and of a Roman villa and tours to visit the ancient walls of Belcastro, the sacred and magic villages of Cerentia, the castles, the Diocesan museum of St.Severina and the Peasant art museum of Cerva or the abbey such as the one in Upper Cropani.

Hills, Mountains and Rivers
Proceeding through canyons, falls and streams, along the “Via dei Carbonai” ancient path that skirts the agro-camping, you can get to the other body of the farm where 30 hectares of chestnut wood, 20 of copse and the rest of pine, maple and ilex woods will welcome the trekking lovers with delicious meals inside a suggestive “pastiddraru”. And going on through almost undiscovered paths studded with violets you will reach the Sila mountains. We also organize tours of guided trekking or rafting on Lao river, where it is possible to spend a unique adventure among breath-taking falls and the beauty of the wild nature (on requirement or on booking).
