The three cottages
PPerfectly hidden in the pine forest and
once homes of shepherds rise the suggestive three cottages
Arocha, Arethusa and Aegle that, according to the Greek mythology,
were the nymphs’ names of the springs. Outside a terrace
with table and chairs under a huge umbrella invites the tourists
to relax. Through the pine wood windows (with mosquito nets)
you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the sinuous 12 hectares
of pine wood that descends through a vast area of olive trees
towards the sea and the marine pines that borther up the beach.
You can enjoy northwards the breathtaking view of the Aragonese
castle on the sea (Le Castella) and, southwards, the Punta
Stilo lighthouse. The inside, that will greet you with a local
welcome, is air-conditioned and supplied of remote control.
Here cotto tiles and wooden girders are the right frame for
the exotic and traditional furniture of the old country house
and the original pieces of ethnic handcraft. Old linen spreads,
hand-embroidered curtains and pillows and wrought iron for
the double and the comfortable bunk beds.
The modern kitchens (fridge, freezer...),
have their cookers under the panoramic window. The bathrooms
with shower (there also is an outdoor shower) is also equipped
with bathroom linen, home-made soap and biological products
for personal care: rigorously biological and locally made
from olive oil, bergamot and almond.
